After a review of data profiling products, it was determined that the Data Profiler from Pervasive met Olmsted Medical Center’s needs for both the data quality assessment and the validation of data quality rules

Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) is a healthcare delivery center with approximately 130 clinicians scheduling approximately 20,000 appointments per month serving about 72,000 individuals in the Rochester, Minnesota, area. At some point, senior management determined that the organization could better serve its community through the creation of a centralized information repository that could be used to analyze performance and assess management information via a data warehouse.
