The IBM Balanced Warehouse supports a wide range of possible data warehouse projects, from small data marts to very large data warehouses.


The IBM Balanced Warehouse is a packaged data warehouse appliance consisting of the DB2 relational database, data warehousing tools, a Linux or AIX UNIX operating system, and IBM hardware. We’ll first explore IBM’s DB2 and data warehousing capabilities, and then discuss how these are integrated with IBM hardware and operating system software to create the IBM Balanced Warehouse.
