Insights on the Run: Best Practices in Implementing Mobile BI

One way to make business intelligence more pervasive is to deliver it to business users instead of making them log in to a portal or dashboard. Mobile intelligence applications exploit the pervasiveness of wireless phones and portable tablet computers that are becoming a requirement for doing business. Using interviews with mobile BI practitioners and a survey, this report examines the business drivers behind mobile BI, charts rates of market adoption and evaluates best practices in delivering mobile BI applications. It also creates a matrix of use cases for mobile BI.
